An honest side by side.
A long let suits some homes and some owners. Here is how the two compare, so you can choose with your eyes open.
The rules, handled
Every nation has its own rules. We know them all.
A register for every short let in England is on the way. We register your home as soon as it opens.
Available for 140 nights and let for 70 in a year, in short stays, and a home pays business rates instead of council tax.
Short-let income is taxed under the normal residential landlord rules, and our statements are itemised for your accountant.
Your lender, your lease if it is a flat, and short-let insurance. We go through all three on the first call.
Council tax or business rates
Which bill will your home pay?
Every short let pays one or the other. It comes down to where the home is and how often it is let, so two questions tell you which.
Pick where the home is to start.
