its long let
The result
More for the owner over 12 months than the apartment earned on its long let.
The story
A home with character, booked for weeks at a time.
Where it started
A 1 bedroom apartment in West Ealing, let to a tenant on a long let.
When the tenant left, the owner didn’t want to take on a new one with all the new rules for landlords coming in, so she asked us to run it as a short let.
What we changed
She had already given it a warm, African inspired theme that makes it stand out from every other listing nearby. We made sure that came across, then got the running right.
- Listing photos that show off the theme and stand out in search
- Pricing sorted, and raised as the reviews and demand grew
- Good cleaning teams in place
- Presented for guests who want somewhere special to stay for a while
What happened
Most guests stay for 30 nights or more, and many come back. It is a Guest favourite on Airbnb, and over 12 months it has earned 32% more than its long let, after our fees.
She doesn’t have to do anything. She lives nearby and pops in now and then, and always compliments how clean and well kept it is.
