Construction crews

  • A46 Walsgrave junction

    National Highways’ £112.5 million scheme replaces the Walsgrave roundabout on the A46 with a junction on separate levels. Development consent was granted in February 2026, early works with overnight closures were under way in September 2026, and completion is expected in late 2028.1

  • City Centre South

    City Centre South covers 15 acres around Bull Yard and Shelton Square. The council approved its first phase of 991 homes in March 2024, out of up to 1,550 in all, and building the first homes was under way by summer 2026.2,3,4

  • HS2 south-west of the city

    HS2 is building the 400-metre Burton Green tunnel, and has works planned on roads around Stoneleigh and Kenilworth through the autumn of 2026.5

    University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire runs two major hospitals and serves more than a million people. University Hospital at Walsgrave is a major trauma centre and cancer centre with 917 beds, so locums and agency staff need somewhere close for weeks at a time.6,7

Our house is north of Coventry city centre. University Hospital and the A46 Walsgrave junction are on the east side of the city, and JLR is at Whitley to the south. Your shortlist shows the drive time from each home to your site.
