A home nearby while theirs is put right

When a home in Windsor or Eton is damaged by a leak, fire or flood, the family often needs somewhere nearby for weeks or months. The council’s 2014 flood strategy says the Thames had flooded the borough at least ten times in the previous 100 years, including Windsor, Clewer and Eton in 1947. Datchet and Old Windsor flooded again in the winter of 2013 to 2014. These stays peak every winter, when heating goes on and pipes burst.8

  • A whole home with a kitchen, a garden and parking, not a hotel room
  • Pets allowed at our Windsor house
  • In Windsor itself, so school runs and commutes can carry on
  • We bill the insurer or loss adjuster directly when they agree
